One of the largest in the Argentine textile industry implements the Operacional solution to manage its manufacturing operations.
After a process involving competition between global solution providers, the Operacional Textile Management System (SGT) was selected to meet the management demands of the Ritex Group.
In addition to the Operacional experience, the delivery of best practices for the optimization of available manufacturing resources, seeking continuous improvement, was fundamental to the choice to implement the SGT.
Ritex
The Ritex Group began its activities in 1962 in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Crespo (in Buenos Aires, Argentina), the result of the efforts of a family dedicated to the textile industry. Starting in 1982, industrial activities were transferred to the city of La Rioja, where they are still operating today.
The company, which is especially dedicated to providing circular knitted fabrics, in the order of 800 tons per month, has a tradition of delivering personalized hairstyles, cards, blends and dyeing, ranking among the largest and most qualified in its region. This is because it is constantly under development, with the objective of improving processes and customer service, in order to respond positively to the demands of the demanding and competitive textile market.
Transformation
At Ritex, the SGT will consolidate all management information in the productive area, managing and controlling all logistics, from the purchase of cotton and chemical supplies, to the maintenance, planning, scheduling and control of spinning, circular knitting, yarn and fabric dyeing, in addition to cost management, order receipt and shipment, covering the entire commercial structure. All in an integrated manner with the company's local backoffice.
The implementation of the SGT for the industrial management of the Ritex Group promotes significant gains in process agility and product quality, with the maximum use of productive resources. Thus, the system expands the company's competitiveness in the market and provides subsidies for planning and strategic decision-making, fundamental elements for sustainability and business expansion.
