Among the major Argentine companies in the segment, the Ritex Group began its activities in 1962 in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Crespo (in Buenos Aires, Argentina), the result of the efforts of a family dedicated to the textile industry. Starting in 1982, industrial activities were transferred to the city of La Rioja, where they are still operating today.
Ritex, which is especially dedicated to providing the market with circular knitted fabrics, with a demand of around 800 tons per month, is positioned as one of the largest and most experienced in its region, offering high quality products, and remaining in constant development, with the objective of improving processes and customer service, in order to respond positively to the demands of the demanding and competitive textile market.
After a process involving competition between global solution providers, the Operacional Textile Management System (SGT) was selected to meet the management demands of the Ritex Group. This is because these are areas in which Operacional has extensive experience and mastery, providing specialized management, with dedication and knowledge at the service of the segment, since 1988.
In addition to Operacional expertise, the delivery of best practices for the optimization of available manufacturing resources, seeking continuous improvement, was fundamental to the choice to implement the SGT.
The SGT will process all information and management data from the Ritex production area, managing and controlling all logistics, from the purchase of cotton and chemical supplies, to the maintenance, planning, programming and production control of spinning, circular knitting, yarn and fabric dyeing, in addition to cost management, commercial order fulfillment and shipping, covering the entire marketing structure. All in an integrated manner with the company's local backoffice.
